Here's an A Channel news webcast featuring, you guessed it, another Jason Kenney appearance, and another appearance of resisters and campaigners dogging him.
I use "we" in the inclusive, figurative sense. I was at work while this road trip was going on.

At about 1:35 of the video, Kenney says: "That's democracy, everyone's welcome to freedom of expression -- and that's great."
For those of us who have been paying attention to Kenney, it's not surprising that he has no idea what the word "democracy" means.
It does NOT mean "freedom of expression". According to the very first definition in my dictionary (Webster's) it means "government of the people ... rule of the majority".
And both the majority of the Canadian government and the Canadian people want war resisters to stay. So as an elected official and representative of Canadians, Kenney is obligated to let the war resisters stay.
That's assuming he truly believes democracy is "great".
Yeah, he is just trying to provide for confusion and to cover up the Harper Government's lack of democracy! Most definitely.
